His Story
 
     William A. Ford was the youngest child born to David and Nancy(McIntosh) Ford.  He was born in Canada in March, 1861 making his age when family came to the United States the age of 7 years.  In the census of 1870 he with parents and sisters rural Caldwell Co., Kingston, Missouri.  Same in the census of 1880.
     In the 1900 census William was head of household, single and living alone on family farm.  His father and mother had both died by this time.  
     In the 1910 census he still listed as head of house, single, but his older sister Margaret(Ford) Sigman was widowed and living in household, listed as cook, private family.  They also had three other people living on farm with them , Robert Clark, Julia May Clark and 1mo old son Clarence E. Clark.  Robert was listed as a servant, farm worker. 
     I was unable to find W.A. Ford in the census of 1920, but he died in 1921 and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Hamilton ,Missouri near the large Cox-Ford headstone.  He never married, and his death certificate says he died from “Chronic Myocarditis
