Could This Poster Become a World Flag?
In the aftermath of the Boston Bombings let's start a campaign to create a world flag to honor the legacy of Martin Richard. The flag should be designed exactly like the poster in the image below.
As with the social media which resulted in the capture of the terrorists, perhaps we could use the same outlets to force Martin's World Flag to be adopted by popular demand.
Drawn by an adorable 8-year-old boy whose innocent life was taken by an act of terror, there is no better universal message that every human being could salute.
It seems appropriate that such a campaign could be launched by members of the Legacy Stories community, people who consider life lessons and values a high priority.
If you want to help promote the campaign please share this story with friends and family and ask them to do the same.
It's Martin Richard's Legacy!! Pass it on!!
While Richard cannot share his legacy, we can vicariously do it for him! No message is as needed right now as Richard Martin's Legacy! Pass It On!
Sharing the photo through social networks is a place to start, so I'm happy to do that. But forcing any outlet to adopt it as a worldwide symbol has very little chance of gaining traction. If the idea catches on, no force will be required. "We are the world" was a popular song and was spread widely a decade ago; and it was promoted voluntarily.
