Trail Canyon Falls

Rain or shine, true hikers get out and hike!
We decided to hike up to Trail Canyon Falls for the first time, in the rain, hoping to find the waterfall overflowing!
My mapping skills were off that day because we missed the cut off up the side of the mountain to the falls. It seemed more intuitive to continue up the creek bed, WRONG!

After several miles of rock hoping up the river bed, we finally called it a day to return on a better day. This is our story!

Still smiling!

Me too.

Omid is taking the lead.

Still heading in the correct direction!

What do you guys see down there?

Old rusty truck parts!!!

These logs are so slick!

Nope, not that log!

The rocks on this hike are outstanding!

We have officially lost the trail, and Marv is heading out in front to see if he can see the falls!

What the heck happened?

I think it is time to turn back before we get covered in poison oak!

Equipment failure!

Whatever you do, don't touch this!

Oh well, too late!

Ouch!

We will return and find the falls!
