b2ap3_thumbnail_Obituary-Photo_20131226-165039_1.jpgVan Richard Ercanbrack, 67, amazing husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away peacefully on December 21, 2013, surrounded by family, from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Born May 23, 1946, to LeGrand and Pearl Roberts Ercanbrack, he lived in Lindon most of his life. Served an LDS mission in San Paulo, Brasil. Graduated from BYU with a degree in Geography. Married Eva Irene King in the Salt Lake Temple on June 29, 1973. Van lived his life to the fullest. He travelled the world, served diligently in multiple church positions, and worked with his family at Ercanbrack Construction. Van's focus and greatest joy was always his family.

Survived by his wife Eva; children Mary (Shane) Andrus, Emily (Tim) Rich, Sarah (Jared) Parker, Deboni (Andrew) Park, Creighton (Michelle) Ercanbrack, Katie Ercanbrack; 19 grandchildren; siblings Dennis (Colleen) Ercanbrack, Paul (Carolyn) Ercanbrack, Wayne (Pam) Ercanbrack, Barry (Christine) Ercanbrack, Bonnie (Michael) Marcon, and Vickie (Richard) Lund. Preceded in death by his parents and son, Lukas Ercanbrack.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 28th 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church, 160 S. 460 W. Salem, UT. Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 27th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 E. Pleasant Grove, and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Salem church.
