Chronicles of a Footloose Forester

By Dick Pellek

Newsletters from 2003 and 2004

Rather than viewing the past through the rose colored glasses of a selective set of fond and cherished memories,  the Footloose Forester chose to retrieve a few of the actual Newsletters he sent out to family and friends a decade ago; and to post them as part of a legacy building exercise.  Unfortunately, the set is not complete and there are many missing entries in his personal archives.  In any case, the ones that are still intact help to focus on a few of the memories that belong in his family history.

hardware for the heart....a coronary stent

Sometimes it makes sense to review the record.  It is true that initially there were three stainless steel stents implanted into his heart in 2004, but a fourth stent was implanted a month or so after his heart attack in August.  The X-rays show four, so there is no reason to leave the historical record of 2004 with an error of ommission.
